When not singing or performing, Ernesto spends time talking to men, women, and couples, about their relationships. Ernesto uniquely interprets romantic songs with his smooth and sensuous tenor voice. Ernesto believes the popularity of Latin Romantic music is due, in part, to the increasing awareness by our population of the need to find true happiness. He further asserts that, because we live in a busy society, men and women either lack the time, the knowledge, or the insight, to achieve realistic happiness, love and/or romance. Since Latin romantic music often portrays themes which express the constant struggle to achieve perfect love, it is natural, for many, to make romantic music the prescription for love.
Romantic songs, for the most part, contain lyrics about the search for perfect love and romance which, hopefully, will lead to complete happiness. Inevitably, however, love songs also express the heartbreak, resulting from love gone wrong or love lost, which can be attributed to seeking an unrealistic love.
Ernesto's newest album, features songs in Spanish and English which deal with the complex subject of love. Not coincidentally, the album is entitled, "Receta De Amor," which in English means "Prescription for Love." This album contains cool, upbeat, Latin/Pop rhythms and heartfelt Latin Pop/Romantic Ballads. Overall, this is a catchy and fresh sounding album with original songs and modern musical arrangements with some songs containing a flavoring of live Mariachis in the background.
Ernesto enjoys singing about Love and Romance. He especially loves singing to female audiences because he is convinced that women are far more intelligent than their male counterparts, especially, when it comes to getting in touch with their feelings and emotions. Women, he says, definitely appreciate the message that his romantic songs convey.
